James A Netter established Netter Real Estate over forty years ago after working with and being trained by his father, a well-known and respected member of the real estate community on Long Island for many years. Jim worked at his father's Babylon office for several years before deciding to branch out on his own, targeting Lindenhurst to Sayville as his primary listing and sales territory. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, New York State Association of Realtors and Long Island Board of Realtors. Jim is a past president of the Multiple Listing Service of Long Island and served on the MLS Executive Committee and LIBOR's Professional Standards Committee. Accordingly, it is with great pride that we say, "Since 1949, we have been helping people move across town and across country." Jim's unique, personal management, sales and training abilities has moved Netter Real Estate into position as one of the premier, privately owned agencies on Long Island. I call the wonderful South Shore of Long Island home for the past 30 years. Spending most of my young adult years here, I knew there was no other place I would rather raise my children. Enjoying and sharing with them all the amenities of Suffolk county living.
Real Estate may not have been my first career choice, I am currently a dental hygienist but I am certain it will be my last for many years to come. As a realtor, just as I am as a dental hygienist, my first priority is the needs of my clients. I am a great listener and will work to achieve the goal of each individual client. I am used to crazy schedules, different needs for each individual or family and will use all of this to provide the best experience for you.

The South Shore of Long Island is the place I call home. My grandparents moved from Brooklyn in 1952 settling in the town of West Islip where I was born and raised. I continued the family tradition by raising my two children here. Living and working on the South Shore has many benefits to offer to its residents. I am currently working as a secretary for 15 years in Babylon and enjoy using my management skills, organization and customer service to provide you with excellent and professional service. Matthew Brett Arnold was born in Bay Shore &youngest of 8 children. His strong ties to family and community kept him on Long Island. With hard work, diligence the tutelage of Steven Taca, he invested his time and energy in Real Estate. His reverence and love of community helped him excel. For 10 years he was Co-owner/Broker of Dutch Door Realty in West Sayville, Bay Shore and East Islip.
Matthew brings his diligence and compassion to his career. He is a member of the Long Island Board of Realtors (LIBOR), always maintaining the highest standards and ethics, and promoting them to his colleagues. In 2002 LIBOR recognized Matt's service with the Outstanding Achievement and Service Award and in 2008 with the Realtor Spirit Award. Then in 2016 Matthew was Realtor Salesperson of the year for The Long Island Board of Realtors (libor) with over 28,000 Realtor members.
Currently Matthew holds the highest executive position, serving as President of the Long Island Board of Realtors.

Born and raised in Babylon and Southampton, my strong love of my community has kept me on Long Island where I continue to raise my family. Being intimately familiar with Fire Island and the South Shore of Long Island has given me a first-hand understanding of the intricacies of real estate in the area.
My earlier professional years consisted of a career as a Financial Analyst at IBM, Kidder Peabody & Co and as an account manager for Johnson & Higgins. While raising my children I was an integral part of building and successfully running a family-owned local glass company serving both residential and commercial clients. As a certified EMT/First Responder and someone active in my community, I find significant gratification in helping to enhance people’s lives through multiple avenues including the acquisition or sale of real estate.
As an active investor in the Long Island property market since 1986, I bring my clients the broad knowledge of all facets of real estate from my experiences in real estate sales to property management. My expertise and market knowledge coupled with my interpersonal and negotiating skills help to ensure a seamless transaction.
