James A Netter established Netter Real Estate over forty years ago after working with and being trained by his father, a well-known and respected member of the real estate community on Long Island for many years. Jim worked at his father's Babylon office for several years before deciding to branch out on his own, targeting Lindenhurst to Sayville as his primary listing and sales territory. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, New York State Association of Realtors and Long Island Board of Realtors. Jim is a past president of the Multiple Listing Service of Long Island and served on the MLS Executive Committee and LIBOR's Professional Standards Committee. I have been married to Ron since 1967, lived in West Islip since 1972 and been with Netter Real Estate since 1986.

I have been an Islip Town Resident for over 40 years and have resided in West Islip over the last 5 with my wife and 2 beautiful children. I started my career in Real Estate based on my experience with the purchase of my first home. I found it to be an interesting process that took intelligence, know how and care. This inspired me to want to do the same for others, wanting to help families find their dream homes or sell their homes with the utmost care and professionalism.
My bachelors and master’s degrees from The State University of New York at Stony Brook in Psychology, Social Studies and Education, along with my diverse life experiences have enabled me to form a unique perspective and understanding about people and situations that has translated very well to the real estate profession. Sal Gargaro follows the Golden Rule in all aspects of his life. Whether coaching for the West Islip Soccer Club, assisting clients and customers or encountering folks in everyday life; Sal always treats people the way he wants to be treated. For nearly three decades, Sal enjoyed a career in banking, the majority of which was with the same bank. He approached banking with a servant’s heart, preferring to work directly with clients and customers. He listened keenly to their needs and offered his expertise in order to make their financial dreams come true.
Sal’s transition into real estate sales is truly a natural career progression; one where he is able to impart his financial wisdom to help his clients and customers with what is often their single greatest financial and emotional investment: their home. The West Islip school district is where Sal and his family have called home for 40+ years. An alumnus himself, Sal’s two children are graduates of West Islip High School from Class of 2007 and Class of 2012 participating in track during their high school careers. Sal’s parents were two of the founding members of the West Islip Soccer Club and he volunteered as a coach for 16 years. It is Sal’s mission that the clients and customers he serves find the same profound sense of community wherever they call home.

Although my younger years were spent on the North Shore, my choice to raise my family was the South Shore. I now know why: these two decisions helped me gain a wealth of knowledge and experience that expands from shore to shore. My first career in teaching was challenging and rewarding, but once my family began to expand I decided it was time to pursue my second career as a realtor.
The transition was easy, this too is a challenging, yet rewarding career. With a strong sense of family and community,( taught in local school) I choose to partner with the local, family owned real estate. My teaching background provides the detail oriented, organizational skills, patience and ability to adapt to all situations that make a successful realtor.
