Matthew Arnold
Matthew Arnold is a proud native of the South Shore of New York. The youngest in a family
of seven boys and one girl, Matthew's strong familial and community ties kept him on Long
Island. With hard work, diligence, and under the tutelage of Steven Taca, Matthew invested
his time and energy into the field of Real Estate. His reverence and love for the community
helped Matthew to excel.
For 10 years Matthew was the Co-owner/Broker of Dutch Door Realty in West
Sayville. While Matthew's work schedule is extremely challenging, it is important to him to
contribute a considerable amount of his time to local organizations and fundraisers. He
was drawn to the Kiwanis Club, not only for its International Fundraising and involvement in
helping children of the world, but for its local reach to the South Shore communities.
Matthew has proudly been a member of the club since 2002, even holding the presidency
position from 2004-2005. Matthew also joined Hospice's Committee of The Children’s
Bereavement Program. As a member of The Board of Directors of Hospice Care Network,
Matthew works to broaden its reach, services, and good works. Part of the program
entails annual fall camps where Matthew serves as a popular counselor. In 2004, Matthew
was honored by this program for his dedication at their annual Black Tie Fundraiser as the
Guest of Honor.
As an active member and participant of the community, Matthew brings his
diligence and compassion to his career. He remains an active member in the Long Island
Board of Realtors, always maintaining the highest standards and ethics, and promoting
them to his colleagues. In 2002, LIBOR recognized his service with the Outstanding
Achievement and Service Award and in 2008 with the Realtor Spirit Award. Matthew was
awarded 2015 Realtor Salesperson of the Year not only for his outstanding production of
selling houses on Long Island, but also for his involvement with the Board. Just recently,
Matthew was voted as LIBOR 2019 President Elect and will serve as the LIBOR President in
year 2020.
It is with great pleasure that Matthew joins the Netter team. Count on him to
enthusiastically assist you with your buying or selling needs.
